Admission Prices:  Adults $6.00, Children $3.00, College and Graduate Students with Valid ID $5.50.

Hours of Operation:  The Museum is open Tuesday-Sunday, noon-5:00pm, tours on the top of the hour, last tour at 4:00pm. Group and school tours are always available. For more information please call: 410-263-4683.

High Season:  April - October:  Open Tuesday - Sunday, 12-5.  Last tour at 4:00. Group and School Tours any time.  Due to staffing difficulties, the Hammond-Harwood House may be closed on Major Holidays including Easter, Memorial Day,and Labor Day.  Please call the museum's general information line to check museum hours on these days.  Call 410-263-4683 ext. 16.

Tour Information:  Regular house tours last approximately 40 minutes and run at the top of each hour. The last tour of the day is at 4:00 p.m. in the summer and 3:00 during the winter.  Tours include an overview of the history of house and its architect, the families who lived at the site, and the collections contained within the museum.  Patrons may also visit our exhibition gallery and our garden at no charge.  Unfortunately, we no longer handle weddings.

Group Tours:  Year Round, Open 9 -4 PM.  Tours for groups of 10 or more are available at a rate of $5.50 for adults and $3.00 for children.  The Hammond-Harwood House can accommodate a group of up to 50 individuals.  Special history field trips  are available for school children.  For visitors with special needs, please call for individual arrangements.  Bathroom facilities are limited.

Click on City Map to ViewDirections:   From the Eastern Shore and points east, take 50W to 450S (Exit 27)  
towards  the Naval Academy. Turn left at the second light onto King George Street.  The 
Hammond-Harwood House is located  at the corner of King George Street and Maryland 
Avenue. From Baltimore and points north, take I-97 to 50E, exit at 24 (Annapolis exit).  This will 
put you on Rowe Boulevard past the Annapolis Court House on the right.  Drive another mile, and the back of the Capital building is directly in front.  Turn left onto College Avenue (the Lawyer's Mall is right here and there is temporary bus unloading).  To continue to the museum, turn right onto King George Street and then turn right onto Maryland Avenue. 


   Parking:  2 hour metered parking is available on a limited basis throughout the city. Using the  
   parking garages is recommended.  One garage is located between Duke of Gloucester Street and 
   Main Street;  the other is situated on Calvert Street near the Visitor's Center.  Buses and coaches 
   may unload at the Lawyer's Mall located directly in front of the Capital building.  It is approximately 
   a 6 block walk to the museum.  Buses and coaches may dock at the Naval Academy Stadium 
   Parking lot on Rowe Boulevard.
