Designed for children in grade 5 it can be enjoyed by children of all ages.
Following the Maryland State Department of Education curriculum standard it is designed “to enhance the grade 5 Maryland social studies curriculum standard that promotes the study of people of the United States and the world using a historically grounded, multidisciplinary approach in order to recognize multiple narratives and acknowledge the diversity and commonality of the human experience” through the study of food and cooking.
