DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, June 6 from 12 to 5 pm \nSunday\, June 7 from 12 to 5 pm  – Tickets valid for both days  \nThis year’s tour showcases the secret gardens in the residential area of the Historic District between Duke of Gloucester Street and Spa Creek. This area of Annapolis is rich with history\, varied architecture\, and beautiful spring gardens. There’s convenient parking in Hillman Garage and the Main Street shops and restaurants are a short walk. \nBring a friend or two for this self-guided tour and enjoy a day in Annapolis. \nEarly Bird Tickets Now Available! \nAll proceeds benefit the historic Hammond-Harwood House museum\, a 501 (c)(3) organization. \nOnline Pre- Sale Ticket Cost- $40 until 6/5/2026 \nCost Day of the Tour- $45 for HHH Members\, $50 for Non-Members \nThe day of the tour\, tickets will be available for purchase ONLY at the Headquarters at 100 Market Street\, Annapolis. Look for the blue tent! \nThis is a rain or shine event. No refunds. \n\nVolunteers Welcome\nIf you would be interested in staffing the gardens\, you can sign up on the website linked below. SUMMARY:Metal Working Skills of the Clock Maker
DESCRIPTION:Resident Horologist Stephen Sieracki maintains and repairs a variety of late 18th and early 19th century case\, wall\, and cabinet clocks at the Hammond-Harwood House. While each clock has unique features\, there are mechanisms and repairs that are common to all clocks. \nMr. Sieracki will demonstrate some of the metal working skills used by clock makers and repairers\, which includes: soldering\, riveting\, peening\, hardening\, annealing (softening)\, blueing\, cutting\, and filing. \nThe audience will have the opportunity to participate in repairing a broken wheel tooth\, fixing a main wheel spring\, and manipulating small brass springs. \nCome and join the fun! \n
