This 90 minute- tour explores the craftsmanship of Annapolis cabinet maker John Shaw. The tour will highlight some of Shaw’s finest pieces and discuss the world in which Shaw lived in late 18th century Annapolis.

This new tour explores the fascinating life of acclaimed 18th century Scottish born cabinet maker John Shaw. The tour visits his workshop, church, and the homes of his clients.
The tour meets at the Old Treasury Building in State Circle.

Tour of the house that compares the customs and social graces of the Loockerman family, who lived in the Hammond-Harwood House in the early 19th century, with those of characters in Jane Austen novels.

Curator led tour of the American fine art collection at the Hammond-Harwood House that includes artists like Charles Willson Peale, John Hesselius, and John Beale Bordley. The tour will shed light on the stories behind the artists and their subjects. After the half hour tour participants will be able to color a reproduction Peale painting with watercolor pencil to take home.
