Join us for Art After Hours! Our special exhibition, ”Ambition: Charles Willson Peale in Annapolis” will be open for evening access. Bring a friend and come enjoy a summer evening in the galleries, gardens, and gift shop at Hammond-Harwood House. A cash bar will be available.

The special exhibit, ”Ambition: Charles Willson Peale in Annapolis” features early American artist Charles Willson Peale’s Annapolis commissions chronologically with twenty-five portraits, including nine loans from institutions like Yale University Art Gallery, the Baltimore Museum of Art, and the state of Maryland. The show will include important private loans, two of which have never been on public display. The exhibition will be the first to focus on the career of Peale in Annapolis.
