Experience an enchanting evening of music, poetry, and festive cheer at our cherished annual tradition! Immerse yourself in the captivating world of 17th century Italy as we present cantatas and arias by Claudio Monteverdi, Alessandro Scarlatti, and Claudio Merulo. Renowned soprano Elissa Edwards, celebrated for her ‘pliant, seductive, free-ranging voice’ (Gramophone) and ‘glistening tone’ (Early Music America) joins forces with Dr. Joyce Chen on harpsichord and Shelby Yamin on baroque violin.
Wine reception (included in the price) to precede the concert from 6 to 7PM. Doors open at 6 PM. Concert is open sitting. Very limited number of tickets at the door.
