Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 from 12 noon to 5 p.m
The 2023 tour features private gardens in the Annapolis Historic District—Prince George Street, King George Street, Maryland Avenue, Hanover Street, and surrounding locations. This area holds a beautiful collection of homes built in various periods and architectural styles, including some of the great colonial mansions. The Historic District provides the perfect setting for an afternoon of garden exploration, to see what lies behind the gates and down the alleyways. The gardens featured epitomize the goals of the home gardener: to have a beautiful space filled with flowers, trees, shrubs, grasses, and other garden elements, a space that is a pleasure to live in and inspirational to work in.
Make a day of it; enjoy the garden tour, have lunch, and just walk around our beautiful and charming colonial city!
All proceeds from this tour will benefit the 1774 Hammond-Harwood House, an Anglo-Palladian home on Maryland Avenue, and its museum collection of paintings, furniture, and colonial art.
Presales will be available until Friday June 9, 12:00 p.m Tickets at the door at Hammond-Harwood House 19 Maryland Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401.
